Abstract:Magnetometry is an important tool prevalent in many applications such as fundamental research, material characterization and biological imaging. Atomic magnetometry conventionally makes use of two quantum states, the energy difference of which depends linearly on the magnetic field due to the Zeeman effect. The magnetic field is evaluated from repeated measurements of the accumulated dynamic phase between the two Zeeman states in a superposition. Here we propose a magnetometry method that employs a superpositi… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
