The relevance of the studied problem is caused by the increased requirements of employers to reduce production costs (works) including labor expenses. Development of Information Technologies in work standardization gives a possibility to reduce labor input of specialists in work standardization and to increase efficiency of their working hours. It will allow analyzing existing standards in more details and developing activities, which are aimed at increase in their quality. The research objective is to define the main directions of application of the information technologies (IT) in labor rationing. Authors analyzed the experience of IT application to solve the tasks in the field of labor organization and rationing at the enterprises of the Samara region, the structure of organization information system and labor rationing is presented, the approximate work content of time study engineers is given and the structure of its automated workplace is demonstrated. The materials of the article can be useful for the departments of labor rationing, for the research on increasing labor productivity, for the creation of information programs on calculating labor productivity.

Se propone una técnica para la priorización de activos físicos que se basa en la contribución que hace cada uno de ellos al rendimiento global (throughput). La técnica presentada está basada en la Eficiencia del Rendimiento Global del Sistema (Overall Throughput Effectiveness, OTE) y relaciona la disponibilidad de cada equipo con su utilización y con el rendimiento global del sistema. La hipótesis es que, bajo la óptica del mantenimiento se pueden jerarquizar equipos en función del impacto que su indisponibilidad genera en el desempeño a nivel de fábrica. A través de un estudio de caso, basado en una planta de conminución chilena, se demuestra la viabilidad de la técnica y la posibilidad de analizar las tendencias que los impactos de los equipos muestran en el tiempo. Se concluye que la técnica puede ser utilizada para definir las políticas de mantenimiento, destinar recursos y revisar decisiones operativas, tales como mejorar los niveles de utilización y disponibilidad.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), many of which operate as suppliers in global production networks (GPN), often times lack behind large enterprises in terms of Industry 4.0 implementation. For this reason, scientific contributions recommend SMEs to approach Industry 4.0 through pilot projects in which individual Industry 4.0 use cases are developed and implemented. Hence, to allow for a targeted development and implementation of Industry 4.0 use cases for SMEs in GPN, this paper proposes a five-step process model that seeks to make use of Industry 4.0 potentials in terms of increased product qualities and logistics performances within such networks. In contrast to existing process models, this paper follows a holistic approach that initially focuses on the identification of potential problems that impede increased product qualities and logistics performances. Building upon these problems, potential Industry 4.0 solutions are derived and transferred into use cases using a structured idea generation and selection process. After the successful implementation of the use case, the procedure is completed by the conversion of the use case into a showcase that might serve as a lighthouse project illustrating the potentials of Industry 4.0 for other production network partners. For testing its practicability, the procedure is exemplarily applied to the GPN of an automotive supplier.
