Measuring Biosignals with Single Circuit Boards

Abstract: To measure biosignals constantly, using textile-integrated or even textile-based electrodes and miniaturized electronics, is ideal to provide maximum comfort for patients or athletes during monitoring. While in former times, this was usually solved by integrating specialized electronics into garments, either connected to a handheld computer or including a wireless data transfer option, nowadays increasingly smaller single circuit boards are available, e.g., single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi or microc… Show more

“…[ 23 ] It was also seen that at greater speeds, the resolution of the graph displayed became poor due to the limit of sending data at 50 ms intervals, and so this can probably be overcome by increasing the baud rate of the serial communication. [ 28 ] Overall, the performance of the bioreactor at the end of the engineering development phase was satisfactory, and the convenience of the user interface enabled scientists without programming or engineering experience to safely and reproducibly use the device to successfully culture cells.…”

“…Thus, a single channel can contain the group muscle information sufficient for pattern recognition without the need to model a particular muscle [9,41,42]. The filters were designed considering that the frequency spectrum of EMG signal has the most power in the range of 20 to 500 Hz [4,[43][44][45]. Samples were taken from the right forearm of two test subjects, using a non-invasive technique from 2 electrodes in a differential configuration (1 and 2) and a reference electrode (Figure 3) [5,9,46].…”

“…Hal ini tentu saja akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani tersebut [4]. Peran sektor pertanian di Indonesia selain sebagai sumber pangan juga menjadi sumber ekonomi masyarakat karena pertanian di negara berkembang khususnya di Indonesia merupakan sumber dari pendapatan dengan estimasi sumbangan sekitar 60-70 persen dari penyediaan surplus pangan bagi penduduk [5], [6].…”
