Measurements of urban traffic parameters before and after road reconstruction

Abstract: The study analyzed the parameters of vehicle traffic and noise on the national road in the section in the city from 2011 to 2016. In 2013–2014 this road was reconstructed. It was found that in most cases, the distribution of the tested variable was not normal. The median and selected percentiles of vehicle traffic parameters and noise were examined. The variability and type A uncertainty of the results were described and evaluated. The results obtained for the data recorded on working and non-working days were… Show more

“…B ąkowski and Radziszewski [76] also compared CNOSSOS model predictions with noise recording in Kielce, Poland, and found a good agreement between measured and modeled median values. Similarly, Vergoed and van Leeuwen [77] evaluated CNOSSOS' performance in the Netherlands and found a good agreement (deviations up to 2 dBA) between model estimates and measurements.…”

“…These equations were then derived for each year. Values of the coefficients appearing in these equations depend on the year for which an analysis was performed and presented in [30]. The advantage of this model is that the coefficient of fitting the model curves to the experimental data is approximately R 2 = 0.99.…”
