Information is given about status of the 70 m antenna in Yevpatoria (Ukraine) with recent results. A new S-X band receiver front-end has been installed made by 'Saturn' in Kiev [6]. Apart from the transmitting equipments (P-band and Cband) and older receiving equipments, new radio astronomy receiver front-ends have been recently installed. This paper reports about antenna status, addressing some critical antenna parameters. Tests have been carried out in different frequency bands. Reception of signals from Mars Express and Rosetta was done. A radio science receiver configuration with real time Fourier transformation has been used to inspect spectra and assess frequency, without demodulation. Indications are given for future activities. 'Non-technical' aspects are indicated as well: progress depends not always on instrumentation, radiophysical or electro-mechanical knowledge and related parameter settings.
