Abstract:The high-statistics data sets collected by the LHC experiments during the heavy-ion runs allow for a detailed study of the azimuthal anisotropy of charged particles. This report presents the selected results of v n measured in Pb+Pb collisions at √ s NN = 5.02 TeV and Xe+Xe collisions at √ s NN = 5.44 TeV, with emphasis on the higher order Fourier coefficients, v n , sensitive to initial state fluctuations of the medium created in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions.PACS numbers: 24.85

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
