Interestingly enough, the muon-capture transitions can be used to probe the right-leg virtual transitions of 0νββ decays [235,236,237], but they can also give information on the in-medium renormalization of the axial current (4) in the form of an effective g A [214,227,229] and an effective induced pseudoscalar coupling g P (in fact the ratio g P /g A ) [213,217,218,219,223,224,227,228,229,231,232] at high (100 MeV) momentum transfers, relevant for studies of the virtual transitions of the 0νββ decays.
