MATLAB-Based Simulation Analysis of the Partial Shading at Different Locations on Series-Parallel PV Array Configuration

Knowledge Graph Embedding (KG Embed) has an important role in extracting the query and retrieving the required information in the technology specifically in scientific research. A surge is seen in the growth of knowledge graphs and also in knowledge representation and reasoning. This paper with the help of the knowledge graph creation helps in finding the hottest topic for research, Specifically, this study includes four research repositories that are Google Scholar (GS), IEEE Xplore, Science, and Worldwide Science (WWS). This study is based on keyword searching, which includes four keywords that are Knowledge graph (KG), Knowledge graph embedding (KG Embed), Recommendation system knowledge graph (RS KG), and Recommendation system in the education domain (RS in education). The data of several papers, articles, and books present in these four repositories from 2000 to 2022 is collected using these four keywords. After this, the paper visualizes this data using graphs and knowledge graphs with the help of parameters like centrality and clustering, which shows that Google Scholar contains more data than other repositories and the hottest topic in research is knowledge graph. It also gives an overview of how a knowledge graph is used in the recommendation system and how it is helpful. Based on the result that we got through the visualization of graphs and knowledge graphs; this study summarizes the suggestions and directions for researchers and practitioners to do future research on knowledge graphs by keeping all the related studies and points. This research takes into account the knowledge Graph research papers, articles, books, and theses from these four sources.

Preliminary Modeling of Coupled Motion Response for Floating Crane and Suspended Module by Using Boundary Element Approach and Empirical Model

External forces and environments can destabilize the floating crane's performance and inflict a high risk of failure in operation. Considering this, the effect of the suspended module during the lifting operation in sea waves is investigated to evaluate the dynamic response of the floating crane. In this article, the combination of potential flow theory in the Boundary Element Method (BEM) and an empirical model is proposed for the prediction of coupled motion on the floating crane and suspended module. Calculations of multibody systems are solved using the coupled motion formula based on the frequency domain method. An analysis of the lifting operation under beam waves is examined with two variations in the weight of the suspended module. The motion characteristics are depicted with the response amplitude operator (RAO) on the nine rigid body degrees of freedom. The resonances of peak frequency occurred in the floating crane's responses due to the lifting load system. The peak frequency of the roll response on the floating crane shifted to a higher frequency due to the impact of the pendulum motion. The difference in peak response of roll motion between variations of suspended load is about 25.8 %. The acceleration response of the suspended module in the z-direction for the large module presented a lower peak frequency than the smaller module.

High-Gain Cuk DC-DC Converter with Switch-Capacitor and Switched Inductor: A Non-Isolated Design

This work introduces the DC-DC topology of a non-isolated high-gain step-up Cuk converter. The proposed topology is based on implementing switched-capacitor (SC) and switchedinductor (SL) techniques. The primary focus of this topology is the application in renewable energy systems and electric vehicles, specifically in photovoltaic and fuel cell technologies. The proposed topology exhibits a notable enhancement in voltage boost capability when compared to the traditional boost and Cuk converters, owing to the implementation of SC and SL approaches. The suggested Cuk converters are obtained by modifying the original Cuk converter, wherein the single inductor present at the output and input sides is substituted with an SL, and the energy-transferring capacitor is replaced with an SC. The primary benefits of the recommended Cuk converters lie in their ability to achieve a high output voltage gain and mitigate the voltage stress experienced by the power switch. Hence, it is possible to utilize a MOSFET with a lower voltage capacity, resulting in a lesser Rds-ON and increasing efficiency. A comparison has been made between the voltage gain and voltage stress across the primary switch in the proposed converter and the Cuk and boost converter. The recommended topology is intended to circumvent the need for a transformer, coupled inductors, or severe duty cycles. This design approach results in reduced volume, loss, and cost. The proposed converter is evaluated under the continuous conduction mode. The present study provides a theoretical investigation of the continuous conduction mode, whereby all relevant expressions are derived and compared with the corresponding simulation results.
