“…Consequently, the heat transfer coefficient has increased and the thermal efficiency of the DPPF solar collector was enhanced. As it was stated by Lin et al (2020) in their work, the solar air heater thermal efficiency with corrugated absorber modification is 9% higher than that of a plain absorber. Moreover, the separation of flows into several parallel flows was the preponderant reason for the better performances of the solar air heater.…”

“…To further rise the solar absorbance of the collector, a v‐corrugated plate has been used, where the sun arrays are reflected several times on the surface. The outcomes of this model have been compared with the flat plate absorber in several studies 14‐18 . El‐Sebaii et al 14 presented a comparison between the double‐pass flat and v‐corrugated plates of SAH systems.…”

“…The outcomes of this model have been compared with the flat plate absorber in several studies. [14][15][16][17][18] El-Sebaii et al 14 presented a comparison between the double-pass flat and vcorrugated plates of SAH systems. The findings show that the effectiveness of v-corrugated plate is larger than the conventional SAH by 11%-14%.…”

“…This paper presents a comparison of air outlet temperature, absorber plate temperature, and thermal efficiency of solar air heaters having flat and corrugated plates and for 0.1075, 0.215, and 0.3225 m 3 /sec air flow rates. A mathematical model was proposed and collector outlet temperature was calculated by several researchers (19,20) , but in the present study, the authors calculate the value of collector outlet temperature at each definite discrete node over the entire plate which can be novel study. Also, an analysis was conducted in a semi-arid region where it can be practically implemented for the utilization of community for developing such solar collector assisted gadgets such as solar dryer, solar still, and many more.…”
