Mathematical model of a root harvester after-cleaning system

Abstract: A mathematical model of root crops after-cleaning and their movement pattern in a technological run for loading into means of transportation has been presented. The impact of both controlled and uncontrolled factors on the efficient continuous transportation of root crops has been determined on the basis of the above-mentioned model. The use of the suggested mathematical model will enable to narrow the search of the most efficient design, kinematic and dynamic parameters in conducting some experimental researc… Show more

“…Furthermore, the source of such oscillations can be the pneumatic doubler wheels that the cleaners are equipped with. R. Hevko et al (2014;2018) and M. Budzanivskyi (2022) studied bunchers, cleaners, and root harvesters under modelling conditions that involve the use of significantly simplified equivalent circuits. This, in turn, leads to the use of initial equations based on the basic law of dynamics.…”

“…at first the partial derivatives must be taken and only after that the integration can be performed) or other approaches [16,17] which make the calculations faster and simpler. To analyze the distribution of efforts in the bearing structures of the machine it's quite reasonable to use some computational investigation based on the simulation models [18][19][20][21].…”

“…The efficiency and operational parameters of the technological process of the work of root-harvesting machine during the harvesting of root crops are characterized first of all by its functional indicators of the quality of work and productivity (throughput) of the main transport and technological systems (Baranovsky, 2007;Hevko et al, 2017).…”
