Abstract:Aking into account the microplasticity in the vicinity of the pores, an effective discharge equation is obtained. The influence of porosity on the residual deformation under uniaxial tension of a sample of a porous metal composite is taken into account. The nonlinearity in the deformations of the discharge curve, which is caused by microplasticity, is established. Numerical calculations of the residual strain as a function of the initial stress and porosity are given.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
