Providing sex education for a teenager is substantial in the perspective of Islam. However, teaching sex education from an Islamic perspective should not be arbitrary. Teenagers and kids are vulnerable to getting false information about sexual activity knowledge. This study aims to indicate that sex education in the Islamic perspective would be a move to prevent risky sexual behaviour. In this study, we use the qualitative research method with literature review or literature study by reviewing numbers of relevant literature to be analyzed and concluded. Deduced from al-Qur'an and hadith, providing education about sexual activity for teenagers in the perspective of Islam along with educating them in accordance to exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad would prevent teenagers from having risky premarital sex.

Sex education is an effort to provide knowledge about biological, psychological, social, and moral changes in humans, especially teenagers. One of the purposes of sex education is to provide knowledge about the reproductive organs by teaching spiritual morals so that the reproductive organs are not misused through homeroom technique group guidance. The goal of this research was to see how effective home room technique group counseling services were in developing sex education knowledge for class VII students at SMP Negeri 15 in Malang City. An experimental method is used to design one group pretest-posttest with a sample of 15 students. The research instrument is a Likert scale. A scale of 33 statements is given at the pretest and posttest. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon signed rank test, which has a significance value of 0.001 less than 0.05, meaning that there is a difference between pretest and posttest scores. The statistical test results revealed that there was a significant effect after class VII students at SMP Negeri 15 Malang City received treatment in the form of home room technique group guidance. Abstrak: Pendidikan seks adalah upaya untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang perubahan biologis, psikologis, sosial, serta moral pada manusia khususnya remaja. Hakikat pendidikan seks salah satunya memberikan pengetahuan mengenai organ reproduksi dengan mengajarkan moral spriritual agar organ reproduksi yang dimiliki tidak disalahgunakan melalui bimbingan kelompok teknik home room. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik home room untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan pendidikan seks siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kota Malang. Penelitian dengan metode eksperimen desain one group pretest-posttets dengan sampel sejumlah 15 siswa. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala linkert. Skala berjumlah 33 pernyataan diberikan saat pretest dan postets. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxcon yang memiliki nilai siginfikasi 0,001 kurang dari 0,05 artinya terjadi perbedaan skor pretest dan posttest. Hasil uji statistik memaparkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan setelah diberikan treatment berupa bimbingan kelompok teknik home room pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kota Malang.

Background: Lack of reproductive health education and sexual knowledge impacts the increasing number of sexual violence cases. From 2000-2018, in 161 countries and territories worldwide, nearly 30% of women were victims of sexual violence. Specifically, one of the sexual deviation behaviors is premarital sexual behavior. This behavior is the result of biological development, thus encouraging sexual desire. Thus, sex education is needed so adolescents can understand the importance of sex education and health. Objective: This study aims to identify the needs of adolescents in sex education. Methods: This qualitative research used the descriptive method. This study was conducted by in-depth interviews with five participants aged 12-15 years in Kalirandu Hamlet, determined by purposive sampling. The data validity test was carried out using member checking, thick description, and peer debriefing. In data analysis, this research utilized open code 4.03 software. In addition, this research has received an ethical license issued by the ethics committee of FKIK UMY, with No. 066/EC-KEPK FKIK UMY/III/2022. Results:The results of this study revealed the needs of adolescents in sex education, including the need for appropriate materials, media, and methods of delivering sex education. Conclusion: The process of adolescent growth and development in sex education needs to get more attention. The lack of knowledge of adolescents to get to the adult phase can cause the incidence of deviant sexual behavior. Therefore, adolescents need to know the need for sex education so that they do not violate norms and can protect themselves from deviant sexual behavior.
