Matching Relationship between Frequency Characteristic and Parasitic Error of Compliant Linear Buffer Mechanism

Abstract: A novel compliant linear buffer mechanism (CLBM) is designed for impact isolation. In view of the incompatible relationship between frequency characteristic and parasitic error of compliant linear mechanism, the mixed compliant linear mechanism(MCLM) is proposed by combining the Lumped Compliant Mechanism(LCM) and the Distributed Compliant Mechanism(DCM).The topology matrices for four kinds of parallelogram linear compliant mechanisms are built through the method of type synthesis. The characteristic polynomin… Show more

“…Most of them are divided into two categories: primitive flexure and complex flexure [12]. The primitive flexure includes small-length flexural pivots such as notch-type joints and long flexible segment such as leaf-type springs [3][4][5][6][7][8].The complex flexure includes cross-axis flexural pivots characterized by the connection of two rigid segments with two long flexible segments arranged in a cross-shape configuration, split-tube flexural pivots incorporated by torsion as the primary mode of deformation, C-pivot by Riverhawk Inc..
