Massive Somatic and Germline Chromosomal Integrations of Polydnaviruses in Lepidopterans

Abstract: Increasing numbers of horizontal transfer (HT) of genes and transposable elements are reported in insects. Yet the mechanisms underlying these transfers remain unknown.
