“…Intervention is required among children who are symptomatic, presumably from a mass effect or for whom there is a diagnostic doubt. 2,7,[8][9][10][11] Percutaneous aspiration has been reported both antenatally and postnatally 4,5 and is a possible alternative to open surgery. 8,12 Total resection is preferred to eliminate the high risk of recurrence in adults, 7 but radical liver resections should be avoided because marsupialization has proved to be an effective treatment and can be accomplished laparoscopically.…”
