Abstract: G iant cell arteritis (GCA) is a systemic vasculitis that affects large-and medium-sized blood vessels in patients over 50 years of age. 1 Patients with GCA typically present with systemic symptoms such as headache, fatigue, fever, jaw claudication, scalp tenderness and vision changes.
