Masculinity performed by transgender men: qualitative evidence and metasynthesis

Abstract: Masculinity is a construct associated with cisgender men; however, transgender men also perform masculinities. This study aimed to synthesize, analyze, and reinterpret the findings of primary qualitative studies about transgender men’s experience of masculinity.
