Abstract:

“…And therein lies the added value of point clouds as containers of qualitative-topological information. In laser scanners use, it is well known the use of reflectance to discover differences in the documented surface: color, composition, texture, moisture (Puche Fontanilles et al, 2017). However, before using this device, it is necessary to consider a series of issues which depend on the characteristics of the built heritage to be surveyed: they concern the lighting, the distance up to which the accuracy values of the device can be assumed, and the visibility limitations that require multiple scanning positions.…”

“…Previous work was proposed to conduct a survey and compare the results with the data obtained from the massive point cloud (Serrano et al 2014). Other works have been carried out with the photogrammetry technique especially focused on restitution (Astorqui 2003) and photogrammetry dedicated to real estate (Almagro 2000); and more recently extract from the cloud of orthophoto-points of various planes, in JPG or TIFF format with color inversion, (Puche Fontanilles et al 2017). Advancing in technology, the plans were obtained by means of transfer of vector support, on which the measures were taken.…”
