“…As like, other estuary along the east coast of India, Sundarban delta receives inadequate attention even after having larger scope of benthic foraminiferal variation particularly off Bakkhali. Previous studies were mainly focused on the marsh, mud flat and tidal channels in the inner part of the delta (Sabyasachi et al, 1996;Gautam, 2010;Ghosh et al, 2014;Tripathi et al, 2017a;2017b;Tripathi et al, 2018).
