Abstract:The toroidal single-fluid magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) code MARS-F (Liu Y.Q. et al 2000 Phys. Plasmas 7 3681) and the MHD-kinetic hybrid code MARS-K (Liu Y.Q. et al 2008 Phys.
