“…Eight species names were originally classified in Paradoris : P. tsurugensis Baba, 1986, P. ceneris Ortea, 1995, P. inversa Ortea, 1995, P. leuca Miller, 1995, P. mollis Ortea, 1995, P. araneosa Valdés, 2001, P. imperfecta Valdés, 2001, P. lopezi Hermosillo & Valdés, 2004. None of these names has been re‐allocated to a different taxon, although Valdés (2001) argued that: ‘it is likely that P. leuca does not belong to the genus Paradoris .’ Four species names have been secondarily transferred to Paradoris : Percunas mulciber Marcus, 1970, transferred to Paradoris by Marcus (1976); D. indecora Bergh, 1881, transferred by Templado (1984), and regarded by Ortea (1995) as the valid name for P. granulata Bergh (1884); D. dubia Bergh, 1904 and D. liturata Bergh, 1905, transferred by Dayrat & Gosliner (2005). Note that the two names D. egena Bergh, 1904 and Alloiodoris nivosus Burn, 1958 must be counted as potentially valid species names of Paradoris because Burn (1969) regarded them as synonyms of D. dubia Bergh, 1904.…”
