“…For Syrian students, studying subjects in a foreign language is considered a barrier to their academic success ( Shuayb et al, 2014 ; Mendenhall et al, 2017 ). Research data revealed the inequality faced by marginalized students in Lebanon because of their poor schooling experiences ( Shuayb, 2014 ; Bahou, 2015 ; Al-Hroub, 2020 ; Al Khalili, 2021 ).
