Recent studies have focused on wetlands as they can benefit humans in terms of spiritual satisfaction and mental health. This paper evaluated the scientometric analysis of 2,388 studies published on the Web of Science between 2002 and 2022. It identified hotspots and trends in wetland research using VOS viewer, Origin, and Citespace software. Analyzing global wetland research publications shows a clear upward trend. Moreover, researchers in the United States, the People's Republic of China, Australia, Canada, and India devote considerable attention to wetland research. Network keyword co-occurrence analysis showed that wetland research covers constructed wetlands, climate change, wastewater treatment, phytoremediation, restoration, and hydrology. Furthermore, the United States is the world's main hotspot for wetland research; China, Canada, Australia, and others are behind. Due to the growing appreciation of wetlands' importance, wetland research will receive more attention from researchers around the globe. Additionally, wetland tourism articles should have improved quality since most publications are rarely cited. This paper presents an overview of the scientometric methodology for global wetlands research. Additionally, scholars working on wetlands can use scientometric analysis meaningfully and effectively for their future research.

To prohibit marine park tourism destinations from being mistreated, carrying capacity must be appraised and well-organized properly. A crucial fragment of conquering sustainable tourism management and development is the appraisal of the carrying capacity of marine park destinations. The research was conducted at Kapas Island Marine Park (KIMP) in Terengganu, Malaysia. This paper presents physical carrying capacity and real carrying capacity assessment for three selected recreational activities at KIMP. The findings show that hiking at Bukit Singa with a carrying capacity of 22 visitors per day, snorkelling with a carrying capacity of 1368 visitors per day and lastly beach picnic with a carrying capacity of 450 visitors per day. The policy makers might use these real estimations of carrying capacity for recreational activities for providing great tourism experiences among visitors and sustainability of natural resources in the future.

Tourism in the marine park is vital to tourist satisfaction. Tourism and sustainability must be balanced in sensitive regions like marine parks. Tourist feedback helps balance and sustain marine park management. Kapas Island Marine Park (KIMP) in Terengganu receives a high number of tourists annually. The resources and the tourist experience may be adversely affected by excessive utilisation of marine resources. It may have long-term effects on the travel industry. This research has adopted an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to scrutinise how visitors view the execution of 23 attributes of KIMP. The objective of this study is to show that various tourism attributes affect tourist satisfaction, as well as to discover the satisfaction- and dissatisfaction-generating attributes that may be found in the marine tourism experience. In addition, this research discusses how IPA may be used to influence future visitor research and management at marine park sites. The findings of this research were obtained by a questionnaire survey of 310 visitors to the KIMP during May and June 2022. The results are displayed on a grid with four quadrants; facilities are available to ensure the safety and security of the visitors (Quadrant One); attributes are already providing good service, and therefore, performance must be sustained (Quadrant Two); the fundamental amenities or necessities as seen by visitors (Quadrant Three); attributes that have a low significance score but obtained a high-performance score (Quadrant Four). These findings potentially provide a reference for thorough development strategies for a marine park tourism destination.
