Mapping Floods during Cloudy Weather Using Radar Satellite Images

Abstract: Monitoring floods using optical satellite images in winter is challenging. Because of the thickness of clouds, the electromagnetic bands used by satellites are too narrow and the resulting signals are reflected into space.
