Abstract: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) still constitutes a dreadful disease with limited therapeutic options. Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-modified T cells struggle to target AML partly due to a lack of true AML-exclusive antigens and heterogeneity of the disease.
