“…As shown in full spectra (Figure S8d), the observed signals of Cu 2p, Mn 2p, and O 1s are, respectively, identified with binding energies around 945, 642, and 531 eV for CuO/Mn 3 O 4 /CF-4. The high-resolution XPS Cu 2p spectra results (Figure c) displayed that the characteristic peaks at binding energies of 933.1 and 952.7 eV are well-matched to Cu + 2p 3/2 and Cu + 2p 1/2 for the thus-fabricated CuO/CF, respectively, corresponding Cu 2+ 2p 3/2 and Cu 2+ 2p 1/2 at 934.1 and 954.0 eV. , Moreover, the peaks of binding energies at 941.1, 943.6, and 962.2 eV are indexed as concomitant satellite peaks . Compared with CuO/CF, CuO/Mn 3 O 4 /CF-4 presents a visibly positive shift around 0.3 eV compared to that of both Cu + 2p and Cu 2+ 2p peaks, suggesting the modulated electron configuration between CuO and Mn 3 O 4 components.…”
