Abstract: Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) is a popular tropical fruit known as ‘the queen of fruits’ due to its delicious flavour. It comprises phytochemicals, flavonoids, and polyphenols such as xanthones, anthocyanins, and phenolic acids.
