Managing nutrition support product shortages: What have we learned?

Abstract: Product shortages related to the components of parenteral nutrition (PN) therapy have been well described over the past decade. The situation has more recently worsened and expanded globally because of the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has placed on supply chain issues and workforce demand.
