Managing Aggressive Behaviors among Psychiatric Inpatients Through the Use of Restrictive Methods

Abstract: The most aggressive behaviors were common in patients who diagnosed with schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. The prevalence in Jordan 23.6% of psychiatric inpatients occurred with them aggressive behavior. There are interventions and ways to control the aggressive behaviors include seclusion, physical restraints, time out, and chemical restraints.
