Management Systems of the City of Zaysan and the District of the Same Name Until the October Revolution

Abstract: The article analyzes the migration and demographic situation of the population of Western Kazakhstan in the second half of the nineteenth century. Factors affecting population growth, mechanisms for regulating internal and external migration are considered.
