Abstract:Congenital right diaphragmatic hernia is rare and often has a guarded prognosis when the liver is intrathoracic. The clinical case presented is that of a right posterolateral diaphragmatic hernia with the liver up, which highlights the importance of a chest X-ray in the face of neonatal respiratory distress and early management as soon as clinical stabilization is achieved.
