Abstract:monocyte concentrations in German Shepherds (mean=0.82, sd=0.21, p<0.01) and Rottweilers (mean=0.83, sd=0.23, p<0.01), which were significantly elevated above upper reference. Significantly higher average lymphocyte concentrations in Golden Retrievers (mean=3.82, sd=0.08, P<0.001), lower average monocyte concentrations in Dobermanns (mean=0.59, sd=0.21, P<0.001), and higher average eosinophil concentrations in Rottweilers (mean=1.22, sd=0.10, P<0.001) were seen compared to crossbreeds averages.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
