Abstract:An 81-year-old man presented to the Emergency Department with shortness of breath, generalised weakness, numbness, giddiness, nausea and vomiting after consuming an inadequately prepared Traditional Chinese Medicine preparation that contained herbal aconitum (Chuanwu and Caowu).
