The main purpose of the article is to improve the mathematical model of the process of computerized measuring monitoring and adaptive fuzzy control of temperature modes of growing crops in greenhouse conditions. The results of the research were obtained using methods of physical and mathematical modelling, theory of differential equations of mathematical physics, theory of thermal conductivity, methods of structuralalgorithmic synthesis of complex technical systems. The main purpose of the article was achieved by taking into account types and periods of vegetation of crops and factors of seasonality and engineering design of greenhouses, which allowed substantiating the functional diagram of the system of monitoring and control of temperature in the growing zone. The article establishes regularities of influence of natural sources and technical components of heat energy inputs and losses in greenhouses taking into account current requirements for technological modes of greenhouse operating, which allowed estimating the range of total specific heat energy sufficient for the production. Promising areas for further research of the developed model were proposed in order to increase the integral efficiency of greenhouse farms. The obtained research results can be used as a scientific and applied basis for substantiating ways to optimize energy consumption of industrial greenhouses.

Conventional farming necessitates a large number of resources and infrastructure such as land, irrigation, manpower to manage farms, etc. Modern initiatives are required to automate conventional farms. Smart indoor farms offer the potential to remedy the shortfalls of conventional farms by providing a controlled, intelligent, and smart environment. This paper presents a three-dimensional perspective consisting of soilless farming, energy harvesting, and smart technologies, which could be considered as the three important characteristics of smart indoor farms. A six-layer smart indoor farms architecture has also been proposed, which explains how data are collected using various sensors and devices and then transmitted onto the cloud infrastructure for further analysis and control through various layers. Artificial lighting, smart nutrition management, and artificial climate control, to name a few, are some of the important requirements for smart indoor farms while considering control and service management factors. The major bottleneck in installing such systems is both the economical and the technical constraints. However, with the evolution of technology (and when they become widely available in the near future), a more favourable farming scenario may emerge. Furthermore, smart indoor farms could be viewed as a potential answer for meeting the demands of a sustainable agricultural revolution as we move closer to Agriculture 4.0. Finally, in order to adapt smart indoor farms and their study scope, our work has presented various research areas to potential researchers.

In order to enhance the efficiency and safety of production and management of modern agriculture in China, problems, such as the quality and safety of agricultural products and the pollution of the environment from agricultural activities, should be unraveled. Based on the new generation of information technology (IT), an integrated framework system platform incorporating the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, data mining, and other technologies is investigated and a new proposal for its application in the field of modern agriculture is offered. The experimental framework and simulation design suggest that the basic functions of the monitoring system of the IoT for agriculture can be realized. In addition, the innovation derived from integrating different technologies plays an important role in reducing the cost of system development and ensuring its reliability as well as security.
