MALT lymphoma at the base of tongue of a 29-year-old woman treated with radiation therapy alone

Abstract: Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma is frequently reported in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), but the incidence is low in the upper aerodigestive tract. In particular, MALT lymphoma of the tongue is very rare. Only four cases have been reported in the English literature to date.
