Malondialdehyde kinetics following coronary artery bypass grafting and its relation to osteopontin

Abstract: Background Cardiac surgery is associated with inflammation and oxidative stress; malondialdehyde (MDA) is a marker of oxidative stress and osteopontin (OPN) is a proinflammatory cytokine.
