Malocclusion, dental injuries and dental anomalies in the primary dentition of Belgian children

Abstract: Our findings emphasize the importance of early detection of these oral conditions in order to permit effective and long-term planning, according to the child's individual requirements.

“…In fact, 4-year-olds have been reported in the literature to be affected by open-bite situations both more frequently and more severely than older children, which only goes to show that spontaneous improvement with age does occur.
