“…The main differential diagnosis includes cutaneous angiosarcoma, Dabska tumour (malignant endovascular papillary angioendothelioma) [2,9], and angiomatosis. Cutaneous angiosarcoma has a very high rate of recurrence, metastasis and mortality [6].…”

“…Some studies have demonstrated the endothelial character of the tumor cells using immunohistochemical techniques (2–7). The tumor cells had positive immunoreactivities for CD31, CD34, CD68, and factor VIII‐related antigen, and some of them were positive for α‐SMA (2–7). In our case, there was positive immunohistochemical staining for CD31, CD34, CD68, and factor VIII‐related antigen, and α‐SMA was observed in tumor cells.…”

“…Histopathologically, EPA is characterized by endovascular proliferation of atypical endothelial cells and anastomosing vascular channels (1–9). In the histological typing of soft tissue tumour by the World Health Organization (10), EPA is defined as being composed of proliferating capillary‐sized vessels lined by cuboidal or columnar endothelial cells occasionally forming intraluminal tufts.…”

“…In 1969, Maria Dabska deseribed a peeuliar vaseular neoplasm, ealling it a malignant endovaseular papillary angioendothelioma (MFPA) (Dabska's tumor) (1). Sinee this original report of six eases, only five additional individual ease reports have appeared in the literature (2)(3)(4)(5)(6), and two apparently new eases were mentioned in a reeent review by Allen et al (7). The eommon and distinetive feature in all the reports seems to be the presenee of well-defined papillary tufts, filling the lumina of dilated vessels with a general eavernous lymphangioma-like appearanee.…”
