Målares tekniker, verktyg och tillvägagångssätt

Abstract: I artikeln behandlas olika målarmaterial och -tekniker som använts på landsbygden i Hälsingland under perioden 1700–1870. Pigmenttillgången liksom bindemedelsmaterialet, verktygsuppsättning, tillvägagångssätt och handgrepp kunde variera beroende på utbildning, social status och ekonomi. I denna delstudie har målarhandböcker, olika bevarade verktyg och måleri undersökts.
