Middle-high level managers of operators of telecommunications have to follow many key parameters to increase the profitability along with strategy of company. Therefore, easily readable data are being provided to managers by experts. With large screens in rooms, these data are monitored momentarily and ensured to take necessary actions without creating customer dissatisfaction. Especially for operators, it is one of the key parameters to manage the network in a quality and healthy way without creating complaints. It is important to monitor network health with appointed criteria and methods. In this context, there have been weights of province-based network health by processing geolocation-based big data and using the VIKOR method. Thus, there will have been presented the network monitoring opportunity from instant real user information to managers. Although there is a lot of criteria and methods for network monitoring, it will have been one of the priority studies that will enable the analysis of geo location data with a MCDM method in this area.

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar o impacto da proximidade das empresas industriais aos sistemas regionais de inovação no desempenho financeiro e na criação de valor, considerando-se a realidade brasileira. O desafio teórico-empírico explorado foi propor um modelo para identificar os sistemas regionais de inovação, a partir da existência de ecossistemas de inovação. Para tanto, a pesquisa utilizou variáveis de formação de pesquisadores, capital humano dedicado à pesquisa e ao desenvolvimento, patentes e publicações e a criação de empresas para identificar os ecossistemas de inovação, cujo nível de densidade geográfica permitiu identificar os sistemas regionais de inovação. Com esse intuito, utilizou-se a análise fatorial exploratória. Foram levantadas 556 empresas industriais no Brasil com informações financeiras publicadas e disponíveis para o período de 2017-2018. Calcularam-se os indicadores rentabilidade e criação de valor, bem como a proximidade de cada empresa aos ecossistemas e sistemas regionais de inovação. Identificaram-se cinco sistemas regionais de inovação no Brasil e verificou-se que a proximidade das empresas a estes sistemas exerce impacto positivo e significativo nos indicadores financeiros e de criação de valor. Essas evidências demonstram a necessidade de fomentar novos sistemas regionais de inovação para apoiar o desenvolvimento econômico do país de forma mais equitativa.

`The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of a bilingual Indonesian tour guide in guiding foreigners coming to Malang, Indonesia. More specifically, this study intended to explore the challenges and strategies in learning and applying two languages. Narrative inquiry is employed in this study to examine the participant’s experiences before and after learning and practicing two languages. This study used a qualitative research design in which the data is described in the form of a description. The research instrument was in the form of open-ended interviews. The participant of this research is a senior tour guide who lives in Malang. The findings of this narrative inquiry indicated that less practice could hinder the participant in applying the two languages and hinder the participant from communicating with foreigners. To cope with the challenges, the participant applied communication strategies by self-taught learning and practice. The study suggests it is crucial to always use and practice the languages, especially for native speakers, to master them. Keywords: bilingualism, learning strategies, narrative inquiry
