Making Sense of Montessori Teacher Identity, Montessori Pedagogy, and Educational Policies in Public Schools

Abstract: Montessori teachers in public schools navigate a system daily that often does not align with their pedagogy, and district policies push them to stray from high-fidelity implementation.
