Economic growth is very important for all countries, one way to increase economic growth is to invest in both Domestic Investment (PMDN) and Foreign Investment (PMA). This study aims to analyze the effect of investment on economic growth in the Province. This research is quantitative research using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, especially in the Province of Riau. The study results show that foreign investment and domestic investment, as well as several superior business sectors in Riau province, basically increase gross domestic product, which means it affects the economic growth of Riau province. The hope is that there is a need for coordination and a clear division of tasks and responsibilities between government units in districts in Riau Province to improve infrastructure services. Carry out a reform agenda in regional regulations. It is necessary to form an official investor forum and be carried out regularly, and Provincial and district governments should integrate policies and investment development programs (investment) following sectors/sub-sectors and highly competitive commodities in the region.

The demand for the halal industry is increasing each year across the globe. Businesses are actively improving their understanding of halal products and practices in meeting this demand. As one of the highest contributors to the country's economic development, the hotel industry is not left to grab this opportunity. One of the broadest sections of the halal sector is food supply chains, focusing on halal risk management, halal integrity, halal logistics, and halal warehousing. However, the study on transparency in the halal supply chain is minimal, whereas the existing research mainly focuses on traceability. Even though transparency and traceability are intimately related, there is a major difference in properly executing halal procurement. This paper discusses the understanding of transparency, the impact of transparency in halal procurement, and management's role in practising transparency. This conceptual study was based on the comprehensive literature review of the most recent available research on transparency and halal procurement. The findings provide societal value by guiding the hotel industry or businesses to adequately implement the halal practices according to Shariah compliance, resulting in better overall services, thus recommending transparency practises in halal procurement policy. Further empirical research should be conducted in testing the relationship between transparency and halal procurement.

Zoya is one of the Muslim clothing companies with halal certification from the authorized institution, MUI (The Council of Indonesian Ulama). This study aimed to determine the effect of halal certification, brand image, and celebrity endorser on Zoya hijab purchasing decisions. This study used incidental sampling technique conducted in the city of Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square (PLS), which consists of outer model and inner model tests. The outer model test is divided into two tests: the validity test and reliability test and the inner model test consists of two kinds of tests, namely the R test and the Gof test. The results of the analysis of this study revealed that the variables of halal certification (X1), brand image (X2) and celebrity endorser (X3) have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y) of Zoya hijab in Yogyakarta. The results of the R Square test obtained a value of 73%. This means that halal certification, brand image, and celebrity endorser have a strong contribution to the consumers' purchasing decision on Zoya hijab. Halal certification provides an assurance and a guarantee for the quality of a product. This is because the halal label on a product means that the product has been ratedÂ thayyib(wholesome).Â
