Making Glycine Methyl Ester Chiral

Abstract: We demonstrate that the simple achiral amino acid glycine as its methyl ester inherits the chiral imprint of methyl lactate upon complexation, resulting in induced vibrational optical activity of the methylene C-H bonds.
