Abstract:In this work, a soft-elastic pulsation pump (SEPP) has been made and investigated. Here, 3D printing was used to make casting molds and a melt-removal method using wax was employed. The SEPP was made of silicone rubber and driven by an external squeezing mechanism. A silicone one-way valve was also made which prevented backflow after the fluid was squeezed out of the pump chamber. The material characteristics of the SEPP including durability were examined.
