Maintaining Contour with a Three-dimensional Interstitial Tissue Marker in 134 Lumpectomies

Abstract: Background: Breast-conserving surgery (BCS) is meant to preserve the natural appearance of the breast; however, tissue volume deficits cannot always be compensated by soft tissue mobilization.
