The originality of the conducted research lies in a holistic approach to analysing entrepreneurs' satisfaction, identifying statistical relationships between satisfaction and diverse economic behaviours, and exploring the role of emotions in making business decisions. This collectively provides a new perspective on the behavioral finance of businesses. Literature reviewEmotions play a significant role in the process of making business decisions. Despite the common tendency to focus on data and facts analysis, it is emotions, both conscious and hidden, that influence the shaping of strategies, the selection of business partners, and the willingness to take risks. Entrepreneurs, considering their personal emotions, introduce a subjective element into the decision-making process, which can lead to both successes and failures.The origin of the word "emotion" derives from the Latin verb "motere," meaning "to move".However, to fully understand the meaning of this term, it is worth noting the prefix "e-", suggesting something more than just movement or stirringit may indicate an additional, extended, or surpassing basic activity. This prefix indicates that emotions have a tendency to act or react (Goleman, 1997, p. 27). Emotions are not only associated with experiencing specific mental states but also with a tendency to evoke particular behaviors or reactions. They are deeply embedded within a person and often guide their actions and influence the decisions made.According to D. Goleman, emotions can be defined as a complex blend of feelings and thoughts that are associated with specific psychological states and biological reactions of the organism. These emotional states, along with predispositions to action, constitute an integral part of the human heritage passed down to us by evolution (Goleman, 1997, p. 442). D. Goleman asserts that emotions essentially serve as stimuli shaping an individual's readiness for action. These are rapid life-saving or life-sustaining plans embedded in our psyche by evolutionary history. Emotional reactions triggered by various situations, such as fear, joy, anger, or sadness, not only influence human thoughts and feelings but also activate instincts and prepare individuals to take appropriate actions at the given moment. Therefore, comprehending emotions is crucial for a better understanding of human behaviour and responses in various life situations.Another renowned psychologist, R. Lazarus, proposes a more intricate approach to emotions. He contends that emotions result from an individual's appraisal of a situation, rather than being merely reactions to specific stimuli. The relevance of this article lies in the fact that the study of the public administration system in Ukraine is an important issue. In modern Ukrainian society there is a clear demand for effective ways to involve the general public and create real mechanisms for implementing democratic principles of public administration through European integration processes. The aim of the study is to analyse the current functional field in the processes of public control in the public administration system of Ukraine. The following research methods were used: analysis and synthesis of information, comparative method, method of sociological research, as well as the method of induction. At the final stage of the study, an analysis of scientific sources on the research topic was carried out. According to the results of the study, it can be argued that the effectiveness of public control in Ukraine directly depends on the state of development of civil society and the level of interaction of its subjects with state authorities and their officials. This largely depends on the motivation of the competent authorities, since state institutions, especially in the legal and organisational spheres, ensure the development of civil society and form the basis for public participation in governance. The practical significance of the research results lies in the fact that the research presented in the article and the analysis of literature sources provides an idea of the implementation of public control in the public administration system in Ukraine, and also opens up new opportunities for its improvement.

A study of the factors which influence digital transformation in Kibs companies

Eighteen interviews were used in this research to inductively conceptualize the factors that influence digital transformation (DT) in Kibs companies that provide multidisciplinary Knowledge Intensive Business Services. Two main groups were identified: factors of DT and use in the new digital environment. Using the findings obtained, a comparison was made with the existing literature and the most relevant aspects of DT as a disruptive phenomenon which can generate intra-organizational competitive advantage are exposed.ObjectiveTo identify the factors of innovation-oriented organizational management, generated by the collaboration of the professional grouping of Kibs companies through the systematization of knowledge, which serve to conceptually delimit the DT phenomenon. Ultimately, it is expected to establish recommendations for this type of companies based on providing services with high knowledge value that strive to digitally transform their businesses.Originalitythe paper contributes to advancing the conceptual understanding of DT through the study of Kibs companies, which remain understudied. Likewise, there is no known study that analyzes the factors that give rise to DT in a professional grouping of small Kibs companies. It is clear that this union of small companies generates a strong internal capacity for knowledge absorption, through daily interactions with clients and public administrations, which favors the process of implementing certain technological and strategic components that are beneficial for the development of professional activity and increases the propensity to innovate.Methodologyqualitative content was analysed using a grounded theory methodology including interviews with experts and the managers of the Kibs companies in the professional sector to obtain a solid basis that can be used to identify the most relevant factors of DT.Findings/resultsas DT is a multidimensional phenomenon of individual companies, this study presents a conceptual framework for the term with the strategic requirements of the market, organizations, public institutions and technological infrastructures of the professional sector. By considering the disruptive factors of digital development in this macroenvironment, conclusions can be made about the basic principles and effects of DT.
