Magnetospheric response to the interaction with the sporadic solar wind diamagnetic structure

Abstract: We report the results of a study on the movement of the solar wind diamagnetic structure (DS), which is a sequence of smaller-scale microDS being part of the May 18, 2013 coronal mass ejection, from a source on the Sun to Earth’s surface.
