Magnetoelectrostatics of axionically active systems: Induced field restructuring in magnetic stars

Abstract: In the framework of Einstein-Maxwell-axion theory we consider a static field configuration in the outer zone of a magnetic star. We assume that this field configuration is formed by the following interacting quartet: a spherically symmetric gravitational field of the Reissner-Nordström type, pseudoscalar field, associated with an axionic dark matter, strong intrinsic magnetic field, and axionically induced electric field. Based on the analysis of the solutions to the master equations of the model, we show that… Show more

“…Keeping in mind the idea of Penrose about the Cosmic Censorship [51], and based on the results of the work [52], we decided that the nonminimal coupling can play the role of such Censor, and have analyzed in this paper the model with nonminimally coupled gravitational, axion and electric fields regular at the center of the axionic dyon. In other words, the presented paper gives us the final detail additional to the series of works [47][48][49][50]. What are the main features of this analysis?…”

“…Since not only the axion-photon coupling can produce the electric field, we need to predict the existence of a distinctive feature, which is the undeniable attribute of the axionic influence. In the series of papers [47][48][49][50] we elaborated the idea, that the field configuration, typical for the electric layer, in the near zone of the axionic dyon could be such a distinctive feature. Indeed, if there is a domain in the dyon vicinity, in which the electric field changes the sign, one can try to find the corresponding imprints in the object spectrum.…”

“…The third trend is connected with the modeling of axionic structures of different scales, associated with the galactic halos, miniclusters, halos surrounding the magnetars, dyons, etc. (see, e.g., [26][27][28][29]). We have to emphasize, that one of the most influential idea in these new models is the idea of internal self-interaction in the axionic systems.…”

“…The dark matter forms specific cosmological units: halos, sub-halos, filaments, walls, the structure of which admits the recognition of the type of the corresponding central elements. We assume that compact relativistic objects with strong gravitational and electromagnetic fields distort the axionic fraction of the dark matter halos, which surround them (see, e.g., [26,27] for details). For instance, when the magnetic field of the star possesses the dipolar component, the axionic halo is no longer spherically symmetric and is characterized by dipole, quadruple, etc.…”
