Abstract:Conventional microwave resonance, pulse-echo, and spin-phonon spectrometer experiments on vacuum evaporated microcrystalline and amorphous films of YFex(x?2) demonstrate the existence of significant dynamic magnetoelastic coupling. For microcrystalline specimens, multiple transverse phonon signal peaks are observed at the rf frequency as a function of static field applied parallel to the film normal. The applied magnetic fields (0–20 kOe) for which the phonon signals are observed coincide with resonance absorp… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
