Magnetic resonance imaging in children with sickle cell disease—detecting alterations in the apparent diffusion coefficient in hips with avascular necrosis

Abstract: Children with sickle cell disease have elevated apparent diffusion coefficient values in their affected hips on initial diagnosis of avascular necrosis.
